WHY I WROTE THIS GUIDE

 

Here's my story:

I worked in the Corporate World for over a decade and felt drained, trapped and miserable the entire time. I wanted a way out, and spent years planning it before I made the leap.

I started working early mornings, lunchbreaks, evenings and weekends to get my investment projects off the ground.

Even when I started gaining traction in my business - it was far from the dream!

I experienced stress, overwhelm, feeling overworked and out of balance. I felt the relentless pressure of doing absolutely everything in my business. I believe many entrepreneurs experience these issues because of core limiting beliefs, which include refusing to let go of control because ‘no one is as good as you’ and so on.

My perspective changed for the better when I read the ‘Four Hour Work Week’ (Tim Ferris) which inspired me not only with the concept of Lifestyle Design and also with the specific idea of outsourcing to Virtual Assistants.

Around the same time I met an Entrepreneur who was outsourcing to the Philippines to support her business and who spoke to me about the concept of using filtering to find the best people.

This is when my inner geek got very excited! I enjoy designing processes and I was overflowing with ideas on how I could create a series of filters to ensure I found great Virtual Assistants to support me in my real estate investing projects.

I went on to create a thriving agency where through time, experience and trial & error I figured out a system of how to effectively screen for and onboard VAs.

In the beginning, it seemed like getting a virtual assistant would be an easy process, but I realized there were many prerequisites necessary to find the success that truly drives the business forward.
