Referral Program Terms

1. Values

Our Referral Program is open to people who share our values. At The Freedom Geek, we are committed to recommending solutions that genuinely serve our clients — small business owners and entrepreneurs working with virtual assistants from the Philippines.

All of our referral partner recommendations are based on products and services we use ourselves at The Freedom Geek. We also value honesty, transparency, supportive relationships, and fair financial dealing.

2. Who are we?

▶The Freedom Geek has been in business since 2017. We specialize in helping small business owners and startup entrepreneurs find and work with skilled virtual assistants from the Philippines.

▶In these Terms, "we" and "us" refer to The Freedom Geek, LLC, and "you" and "Referrer" refer to you as a participant in our Referral Program.

3. Information and security

▶Data Collection: To manage your referrals and rewards, we securely store your full legal name, valid email address, and valid PayPal account details.

▶Confidentiality: We handle your information with strict confidentiality, using or disclosing it only as required to perform our services or as mandated by law. We retain necessary records for administrative accuracy..

▶Referral Disclosure: You acknowledge that we may inform you when a referral has become a customer for the purpose of administering this program. Conversely, per our Terms of Business, we may inform referred customers that their referral has been acknowledged and communicate with you regarding referral rewards and related administrative matters.

▶Intellectual Property: You may not resell our products, "white label" them, or use extracts of our materials without our prior written permission.

4. Referral Commissions

4.1 How to qualify

To qualify for a commission, a new customer must:

▶ be referred by you and identify you as their referrer at the point of enquiry or purchase (by name, via email, or through another method we specify); and
▶ complete their first Virtual Assistant placement payment in full.

4.2 Commission amount

Commission is $75 USD per new customer on their first Virtual Assistant placement. This is a one-time commission per new customer. No further commission will be paid if the same customer makes additional purchases.

Commission is not payable if the referred customer has previously purchased any of our products or services.

4.3 When commission is credited

Commission is credited to your account once the customer's payment has cleared. Payments are processed within the first week of each month for commissions earned during the previous month, via PayPal. In the event of a customer refund, the associated commission will be offset against your next payable commission.

4.4 Claiming your commission

Once a referral is confirmed as successful, we will notify you by email on the date payment is received. You will have 90 days from that notification email to provide your PayPal email address. We will send a reminder if we have not yet received your details. If we do not receive your details within the 90-day window, the commission will be forfeited.

5. Payment

5.1 Payment schedule

We aim to process referral commission payments within the first week of each month for commissions earned during the previous month, via PayPal. We reserve the right to offer an alternative payment method if PayPal becomes unavailable or impractical, and will notify you in advance.

5.2 Deductions

The amount you receive will be net of:

▶ commission deductions on refunds and chargebacks;
▶ PayPal transaction fees or equivalent charges;
▶ any withholding we are entitled to make under these Terms; and
▶ any withholding required by law.

5.3 Currency

All commissions are paid in US Dollars (USD). If we elect to pay in a different currency, we will notify you in advance. You are responsible for any currency conversion costs or losses on your end.

6. Termination

Either party may end participation in the Referral Program at any time by giving written notice to the other. Any commissions already confirmed and credited to your account at the time of termination will be paid out on the next scheduled payment date. No commission will be paid for referrals made after the termination notice has been given.

We reserve the right to disqualify a Referrer and withhold unpaid commission if we reasonably believe the Referrer has acted dishonestly, in bad faith, or in breach of these Terms.
